OUR HISTORY
SINCE 1906
SG Morin, (Sylvester Guillome) started his construction company in 1906 where he concentrated on commercial jobs and masonry work in the Inland Northwest. Many of them you may know and are still standing today including Sacred Heart Hospital and many others.
During the great depression of the1930's, SG Morin and crew moved to grain elevators in the Palouse and bridge work (seen here) to keep the company going. Built with quality and skilled workers at hand, his legacy grew larger when his son joined the company in 1954. Now called SG Morin & Son, (William Senior) who graduated from WSC (Washington State College), with a degree in Civil Engineering, the company grew even more, working on jobs like the grade school in Browns Addition or the Coeur d’Alene Rectory.
The company thrived for many years expanding their scope of work and the level of expertise with the 3rd generation joining the team. Graduating from WSU in Construction Management and Engineering, Bill Morin Jr. moved to California to learn the trade on a larger scale before returning to Spokane to join the family business in 1993. Now Morin Construction, the legacy of over a 100 years in the business continues with quality and expertise in both commercial and residential construction.

In 2020 the business changed its name once again to be simply Morin Construction encompassing all generations before and yet to come. Currently run by Bill Morin, who, pictured here, has brought in residential construction to the portfolio so they can now do just about any project you may need. He's currently trying to develop the next generation in the four legged variety but its not looking good for her abilities other than being cute.
